Threats

According to the ENISA Glossary, a threat is any circumstance or event with the potential to adversely impact an asset through unauthorized access, destruction, disclosure, modification of data, and/or denial of service. ENISA in 2014 with Threat Landscape of the Internet Infrastructure mapped the assets composing an Internet infrastructure and the applicable threats, giving an overview of emerging trends, and providing adapted security measures.

The conclusive listing clustered into threat groups according to the exposed assets. Each threat group regroups the threats menacing a particular technical domain and/or technology, with no discrimination in regard with their threat type. The main threat groups are:
